All Official University Site Pages should:
- Possess written content provided by official University representatives
- Possess graphical content that has met with all college standards
- Be developed by the official University Web Services staff using standard templates, W3C compliance, currency verifications, and uniform asset usage policies.
- Possess architecture and implementation provided by official University Web Services staff.
- Be maintained using the WCMS—which is centrally administered and overseen by Campus Webmaster.
All top level pages (Home page, audience pages, etc) should:
- Be managed exclusively by the Official College Web Services staff
- Be subject to full approvals of the Web Advisory Committee.
- Be monitored regularly for currency of data, accuracy of information, and management of dynamic content.
- Be updated/enhanced regularly (at least yearly) to maintain effective, current look/feel.
All tier 2 administrative level pages (HR, Finaid, Student Services, etc) should:
- Be managed by Web Services during build/enhancement stages of development, but maintained at the department level with support from Web Services.
- Adhere to all requirements for proper use of the college templates within a reasonable time frame of any site wide enhancements.
- All Colleges should have an officially designed, developed, and managed portal page that conforms to all Official University Standards as set out above.
- All Departments should have an officially developed portal page that conforms to all Official University Standards as set out above.
*NOTE: The term "Official Web Services Staff" refers to the integrated team of professionals who, collaboratively, are responsible for the Florida Tech Web site.
